What is National Sew a Jelly Roll Day? This day focuses on the pre-cut fabrics quilters purchase, but don’t use for a project. These unused pieces are then stored and rolled together with other pieces, referred to as a “Jelly Roll”, and saved for a later date.

How to celebrate: Instead of keeping unused fabrics shelved, this day encourages sewers to be proactive and sew all their jelly roll pieces together for one project.
