Fall Classes!

Save the dates!!! We are thrilled to introduce six of our day classes that we will be having this fall at The Fabric Cupboard:
Friday, Sept 30th – Mug Rugs for Fall! These fast, easy and fun seasonal mug rugs make great gifts and are the perfect way to use up your scraps. You will have completed mug rugs at the end of the class.
Saturday, Oct 1st – Fall Tablerunner with Pumpkins! Create a Fall Table Runner in no time with strips of fabric and a Seasonal Appliqué pattern. It will add quick color and style to your home. Easy to assemble, this runner can be made in different colors and appliqués to work for other seasons or holidays.
Friday, Oct 21st – Mug Rugs for Christmas! These are also fast, easy and fun and will be perfect as gifts or make your home cozy for the holidays. Quilt your mug rugs before you head home.
Saturday, Oct 22nd – Quilt As You Go Holiday Runner! This technique will help you quilt your projects as you piece them. Instead of having to quilt a large quilt, you will be able to quilt each block individually and join them together.
Saturday, Nov 19th – Christmas Stocking Class! Strips are sewn together using a Quilt-As-You-Go technique. A great way to use your holiday scraps and you will complete your stocking on your sewing machine in class.
Saturday, Nov 26th – Vertical Log Cabin Applique! Log Cabins are a favourite with Quilters. Piecing and machine applique are combined for this sweet hanging for the holiday season.
We are thrilled to have awesome instructor Martha Davidson teaching these six classes in our spacious Friendship Center! We have these classes booked for Fridays and Saturdays but will take names for classes on weekdays and if we gather enough names, we can do that as well. We also have 2 sets of classes that are on a Friday and Saturday – come and take the Mug Rug on Friday, leave all of your supplies at your desk for the evening and then take the Tablerunner on Saturday! No lifting or lugging in between classes – how great is that? Call or message to reserve your spot today!
